The Presbyterian College women’s basketball team led by six points at the half but could not hold off a late-charging Campbell squad, falling on Saturday evening at Templeton Center, 53-44.

The Presbyterian College men's basketball team launched a comeback bid from a 13-point second half deficit to nearly earn a home win against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers on Thursday night, but the visitors held on in a wild Big South matchup as PC fell by three points, 52-49.

In the battle for school bragging rights, the Red and White squads from Bell Street Middle School took to the court on Thursday. Both teams shot the ball well, but White took the 44-36 victory.

The Presbyterian College men’s basketball team, in the midst of a three-game home stand, hosts Coastal Carolina at the Templeton Center Thursday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. to start the second half of the season.  PC is looking to snap a five-game losing streak.  The last time the team lost five in a row was in early December of the 2009-10 season, when the Blue Hose suffered a seven-game setback.
