Clinton First Pentecostal Church is inviting Laurens County pastors and the community to attend a prayer event at the new Clinton High School on Thursday, August 5 at 7:00pm.

This event will be set up similar to the National Day of Prayer gathering each year and pastors and community leaders will be asked to lead the attendees in prayer. The theme for the prayers will include: prayer for the faculty and staff, prayer for the students, prayer for the spiritual atmosphere of the student body, prayer for a shield of protection and safety for the upcoming school year, prayer for the academic atmosphere at the new school and prayer for the present financial challenges that our schools are facing.
